Bombyx Mori ottoman

Bombyx Mori is inspired by the nature of transformation and movement. Repeating soft volumes create the rhythm of a living form—a caterpillar at rest, where each segment is part of a unified whole. This sculpture evokes a sense of future transformation: calm, balance, and inner strength. The contrast of delicate textiles, warm veneer, and cool brass delicately emphasizes the idea of transformation—from simplicity to sophistication. The ottoman is perceived as a holistic object in which the natural image is not reproduced literally, but is read through form, rhythm and tactility.
